Job Overview:

The Senior Design Lead, directly reporting to the Head of Creative, will lead the development and execution of creative strategies across all customer touchpoints, with a strong emphasis on print while ensuring seamless adaptation to other media. This position requires an experienced professional with expertise in brand development and creative direction, ideally from an advertising or design agency background. The role involves both guiding and collaborating with the design team while being actively involved in the design ideation process. The Senior Design Lead will drive high-quality design solutions that align with the company’s educational vision and branding initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creative Strategy and Direction: Lead the conceptualization and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on print, ensuring creative treatments meet brand objectives and seamlessly extend across digital and video platforms.
  • Team Leadership and Growth: Co-manage and mentor the design team alongside the Head of Design, fostering a collaborative, innovative environment that pushes creative boundaries.
  • Brand Stewardship: Oversee the brand book, ensuring that all creative outputs remain aligned with brand guidelines while adapting to evolving market trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure design strategies align with business objectives, delivering impactful and effective creative solutions.
  • Hands-On Design Leadership: Take an active role in design ideation, creation, and execution, using your expertise to guide the team and produce visually compelling and on-brand designs.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Proven Experience: Over 10 years in design, with at least 5 years in a significant creative leadership role, preferably with an advertising background.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, specializing in print design with the capability to adapt designs across digital and video media.
  • Strategic Design Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate design thinking and present creative ideas effectively; adept at multitasking and working under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand and Creative Oversight: Develop and maintain global imaging and video style guides, approve creative content, and ensure brand consistency across all formats.
  • Design Excellence: Maintain high standards for typography, color, and overall visual composition, particularly in print, while exploring innovative solutions for other media.
  • Operational Efficiency: Organize and plan project details efficiently, maintain and organize files and project materials, ensuring seamless project continuity.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required, along with a portfolio that demonstrates extensive expertise in graphic design and creative leadership. Proficiency in AI and other modern design tools is a plus.
