Overview:

A national body in the sports development space is seeking a strategic PR partner to reshape public perception and drive a positive narrative around its growing ecosystem. Significant progress has been made across grassroots programs, youth development, and women’s participation, yet current public discourse remains outdated or misaligned with on-ground realities.

• Build and amplify a positive narrative around this sport
• Surface and amplify transformational stories that reflect the evolution of this sport across regions, age groups, and communities in India
• Champion the under-reported stories of transformation: new infrastructure, inclusive programs, and rising regional talent
• Elevate public sentiment and stakeholder perception through credible, regionally distributed storytelling

Agency Expectations:

• Craft a PR & communications strategy tailored to grassroots
• Identify and pitch high-impact stories to national and regional media outlets
• Secure coverage across mainstream, digital, and regional publications
• Support ongoing narrative-building with:
  1. Thought leadership opportunities
  2. Op-eds and expert features
  3. Data-led storytelling (infographics, before/after comparisons)‍
  4. Reporting & media tracking of all placements
  5. Work with internal stakeholders to leverage access to events, talent, and regions‍
