Senior Manager, Visual Design

Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Visual Design to lead our design team in creating compelling, high-quality visual assets that align with our brand partner's visual brand and enhances user engagement This role will involve managing a team of designers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing a cohesive visual strategy across all channels
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Visual Design Strategy: Develop and execute a visual design strategy that aligns with brand goals, ensuring consistency across all touch points
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on creativity and growth
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, UX/UI, and content teams to integrate visual design with broader company objectives
- Design Development and Execution: Oversee the creation of all visual assets, including digital ads, website content, social media visuals, presentations, and branded collateral
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual outputs maintain a cohesive and consistent brand identity across channels
- Innovation and Trends: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies; incorporate best practices to keep the brand fresh and innovative
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of design quality, providing constructive feedback and approvals throughout the design process
- Project Management: Oversee timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for all design projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
Requirements:
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in visual design, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role, preferably in a consumer-facing brand or agency setting
- Skills: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and other design tools. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing a range of high-quality design work, including digital and print media
- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in managing and mentoring design teams, with a track record of developing talent and fostering a creative environment
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for visual quality
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus
Preferred Qualities:
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and experience working closely with UX designers
- Familiarity with brand-building in digital-first environments
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and keeping up with design trends
