About the Role
The brand is looking for a dynamic Community Manager to build and scale their community across cities, connecting with users, stylists, salons, and early adopters.
This role is about designing experiences that introduce the brand to new audiences and cultivating the kind of emotional connection that converts interest into advocacy. You will be the architect of how people first encounter the brand and how they choose to stay, bridging the gap between digital conversations and on-ground reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experiential Marketing: Lead community-driven brand awareness by planning and executing intimate discovery events, pop-up rituals, product trial sessions, and city meet-ups.
- Scalable Strategy: Build a "city-by-city playbook" of modular experiences that can be rolled out quickly and scaled efficiently across new geographies.
- Digital Ecosystem: Manage the brand's digital community ecosystem, including WhatsApp groups, early-adopter cohorts, and review circles designed to spark learning and sharing.
- Network Building: Grow the stylist and salon network through regular on-ground interactions to build trust, gather insights, and strengthen loyalty loops.
- Funnel Optimization: specific focus on building funnels for early adoption—crafting experiences that encourage first-time use, repeat usage, and organic referrals.
- Data & Insights: Track engagement, sampling-to-conversion ratios, and sentiment; translate these insights into actionable plans to improve acquisition.
- Ambassador Program: Identify potential superfans and high-influence stylists to convert them into micro-ambassadors who shape the brand narrative.

- People Person: You have a strong instinct for people and culture, with the ability to create warm, high-quality experiences that resonate emotionally.
- Event Specialist: You are skilled at event planning, ranging from small-format rituals to structured city-wide activations.
- Hybrid Operator: You are comfortable running both digital (online communities) and physical (offline events) communities with equal depth.
- Data-Driven: You possess analytical awareness and can interpret participation and conversion data to measure success.
- Startup Ready: You are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment.
