Company Overview: A leading India based building material manufacturer and global exporter with a strong presence in the US and UK, supplying major retailers like Walmart and Home Depot is now expanding within India. They are looking to leverage established B2B dealer partnerships and is aiming for widespread B2C brand awareness.
Objectives
- Build a premium, exclusive community for key stakeholders (dealers, partners, customers) to drive deeper engagement and repeat sales.
- Establish brand recall through a signature digital experience—similar to how Dominos is remembered for its chili flakes and oregano, the app should become a recognizable, value-driven touchpoint.
Onboarding & User Interface
- Clean, intuitive UI inspired by best-in-class competitor apps.
- Users register via mobile number, linked to an internal database, and access a personal profile page (with a possible unique ID).
Loyalty, Rewards & Membership
- Users earn reward points through purchases (via PO or QR code scans).
- Points are redeemable via a catalog, with a tiered membership system (Silver, Gold, Platinum) and a target meter showing progress.
Events, Meetups & Community Building
- Highlight upcoming training sessions, partner meets, and key events within the app.
- Built-in RSVP and event updates to encourage participation and build stronger relationships.
Product Content & Video Library
- Central space for product-related videos, tutorials, and guides.
- Videos can be shared externally to create organic reach and support product understanding.
Support, Ordering & Dealer Locator
- Tools for placing orders directly through the app.
- Access to a dedicated support contact and a GPS-based locator for finding nearby stores or distributors.
Language Support
- App will launch in English and Hindi, with plans to expand to regional languages like Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu for wider reach.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React Native (preferred) or Flutter for cross-platform (iOS + Android) development.
- Backend: Node.js with Express.js or Django (Python) using REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Database: PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Authentication: Firebase Auth, OAuth, or mobile OTP-based login.
- Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- CMS (if needed): Headless CMS like Strapi or Contentful.
UI/UX Design & Adapted Pages
- Mobile-first, intuitive UI/UX tailored for different user groups (carpenters, architects, builders, homeowners).
- Role-based personalized dashboards, user journeys, and interaction flows.
- High-fidelity wireframes/prototypes, with multilingual and accessibility support.
Platform Compatibility
- Primary focus: Mobile app (iOS + Android).
- Also require a responsive web version (desktop + tablet) for certain user roles and admin dashboard access.
Content Creation
- Complete content creation across all screens, including
- Microcopy, onboarding messages, and tutorials
- Role-specific pages (profile, feed, forums, help, notifications)
- SEO-friendly content for web version
- Brand will provide inputs on tone and USPs; the agency should deliver clear, user-centric copy.
