Why This Role Matters

This is not a “content ops” role. It’s brand storytelling, demand marketing, and growth mindset in one. Content already fuels the majority of our pipeline - and in this role, you’ll directly shape how our brand is remembered and how revenue is generated.

Your Mission

To build a content engine that B2B marketers remember, respect, and return to. This will be achieved through unmatched content, creative distribution strategies, and a brand personality that is impossible to ignore.

Responsibilities

🧠 Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the brand’s content charter across the website, social media, and third-party platforms.
  • Build a full-funnel content engine covering top-of-funnel (attention), middle-of-funnel (trust), and bottom-of-funnel (conversion).
  • Own the content strategy and its tactical execution with clear, milestone-based KPIs tied to ROI, pipeline growth, and qualified leads.
  • Build and lead a high-functioning content and brand team, including freelance writers, designers, and developers.

✍️ Content Creation & Management

  • Oversee the creation of website content (e.g., service pages, case studies, blogs), long-form assets (e.g., whitepapers, infographics, video scripts), and engaging LinkedIn content.
  • Deliver thought leadership pieces, including ghostwritten articles, executive bylines, and webinars.
  • Ensure strict alignment of all content with target audience needs and brand messaging frameworks.

📈 Growth-Driven SEO

  • Drive SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives, including backlink strategy, A/B testing, and funnel analysis.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize high-intent pages and enhance lead conversion rates.

🚀 Distribution & Brand Visibility

  • Treat content distribution with the same importance as content creation, utilizing channels such as LinkedIn, influencer partnerships, niche newsletters, media mentions, and online communities (Quora, Reddit, Slack/Facebook groups).
  • Launch unconventional campaigns (e.g., memes, swipe files, mini-tools, contests) to achieve high impact and visibility.

🎯 Analytics & Performance

  • Track key metrics across branded search, audience engagement, newsletter growth, and inbound leads.
  • Analyze what content drives high traffic versus what drives high-converting traffic.
  • Collaborate with the Growth team to constantly test, measure, and refine strategies through experiments with new formats, partnerships, and user-generated content loops.

🎨 Brand Identity & Experience

  • Maintain a consistent tone, style, and design across all communication channels.
  • Shape the company's visual and verbal identity as it scales and enters new markets.

📚 Process & Infrastructure

  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for content creation, repurposing, and distribution.
  • Own and manage the Content Management System (CMS), SEO tools, and content performance dashboards.
  • Create sales enablement materials and support team skill development.

Must-Have Skills

  • 7+ years in content roles, preferably in B2B SaaS, marketing technology, or at an agency.
  • A deep understanding of content marketing, SEO, and social distribution.
  • Strong editorial instincts combined with a flair for creative experimentation.
  • The ability to translate founders' points of view into magnetic content.
  • A knack for identifying unique and overlooked distribution opportunities.
  • Proven leadership and team-building experience.
  • Fluency in analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Search Console, MS Clarity, Looker Studio, SEMRush).
  • Experience managing freelancers, designers, and project managers.
