About the Brand

Backed by one of India’s premier VC funds, the brand is a new-age, premium, professional haircare company building a global legacy. Their products are specifically formulated and tested for Indian hair, weather, and habits, utilizing the best actives from across the globe.

About the Role

The brand is looking for a talented Packaging Designer to translate their premium product quality into a tactile physical experience. This role sits at the intersection of creative aesthetics and technical production. You will not just be designing labels; you will be engineering the "unboxing experience" for a global Indian brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Design: Own the complete packaging process—from initial concept and 3D renders to final production-ready artworks.
  • Storytelling through Structure: Collaborate with product, sourcing, and brand teams to translate product stories into premium, tactile packaging experiences.
  • Vendor Management: Partner directly with vendors and manufacturers to ensure material feasibility, finish precision, and color accuracy.
  • Technical Execution: Develop robust packaging guidelines, dielines, and mockups to ensure consistent execution across SKUs.
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure every element of packaging—from the texture of a carton to the finish on a bottle—reflects the brand's premium yet modern design identity.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of global trends in materials, sustainability, and structural innovation.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 3–6 years of specific experience in packaging design for personal care or premium consumer brands.
  • Material Mastery: You have a strong portfolio showcasing work across various formats: bottles, tubes, cartons, kits, and gift boxes.
  • Production Expert: You possess a deep understanding of print processes, finishes, and production constraints—you know what looks good on screen vs. what works on a shelf.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required; skill with 3D visualization/rendering tools is highly valued.
  • Aesthetic Eye: You have an excellent eye for color, typography, and texture. Experience working on Luxury or D2C beauty packaging is a strong advantage.
